JOGJAKARTA PART I : Adventure

Jogjakarta has a lot destinations for a short getaway vacation. If you go to Jogjakarta, i guess it can fulfiled wheter you are a backpaker style kind of person or you seek  leisure and cozy places kind of person when you are on vacation.

Lobbyn Kitchen and Bar, Kemang

 Located at Fave Hotel, Kemang, Lobbyn Kitchen and Bar is another option to enjoy the Jakarta Skyline.  The bar is on the poolside at the rooftop area of the hotel. The rooftop area opens at 5 PM, so this place was built to enjoy the sunset.

Authentique French Bakery, Kemang

Real french bakery owned by a French lady, Sophie Boyer, Authentique was a joyful and homey little place located at Kemang.  Authentique French Bakery just moved from its previous location, but the new location was near the old one, its about 50 m from the old one. First impression when i came to the bakery were the cozy place and  the appetizing smell of freshly baked pastries.

 When i was here it didn't feels like i was in Jakarta, which is a pleasant way if you need a really short get away from the busy traffic at Kemang /Jakarta

 Canelé (IDR 15), Sophie said this small pastry is a must try, if you haven't tried any canelé,  you haven't tried the Speciality of French Pastries. A canelé is a small French pastry with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust.I like it because it has the right level of sweetness.

Authentique French Bakery is a recommended place to visit. Prices are moderate and they offer a freshly baked pastries and dessert. They also have savory menus for breakfast too-!

Le Cafe Gourmand, Senopati

Le Cafe Gourmand, Senopati its another spot to enjoy your coffee, with the variety of coffee selection you’ll be satisfied by the good taste of the coffee and how comfy is the place was.

 I always order English Breakfast when it comes to selection of tea. This place doesn't have English breakfast for tea but they sure have great desserts and ice cream. And they also have Indonesian Specialty Teas, like Gunung Tilu Special Grade Black Tea, Organic Red Jade Java Tea, Mount Halimun Oolong, etc (all for IDR 40). Its another place which is perfect to do your assignment or just to enjoy your afternoon

Cloud Lounge and Living Room

 Located at 29th floor above altitude at The Plaza, Cloud Lounge is another option to spent the afternoon with the view of Jakarta City. Its actually divided by three different space. The best one is an outdoor rooftop lounge and bar, with the view of Jakarta City, but it has minimum payment about IDR 1.500.000 – IDR 2.000.000, reasonable price if you go here in a group of 10 people. But if you want to be sited in this area without have to pay the minimum payment, you can sit on the bar. The second area is inside the building  and the third area was outdoor like the first one but with least of view, because it was facing the back of another building, so you cant see the city skyline because it was blocked by another building.
