• A bit pricey but definitely worth it. If you like Italian food, this restaurant offer s a very Italiano taste, compare to other Italian Restaurant in the city (oh with a big portion too)
• The Place was lovely, i went there for dinner, but would go back to try it for lunch, because the ambiance is beautiful either for nigh or day.
• Definitely built for fine dining but you still have the feeling of being at home, because the atmosphere is not intimidating at all.

•         With small portions
•         And pricey. But definitely DELICIOUS

Located at MD Plaza in Setiabudi- Akira Back is a Japanese Fusion with Fine Dining Concept  at the top of the building (12th Floor). A lot of the menu also explain a little bit of Korean Cuisine. I was having dinner with group of three, and we spend about IDR 2.500.000. Yes its not cheap, but all the food we've ordered were beyond satisfying. Although the food that came out were in small portions, we were blown away by the taste. I suggested you to order a lot of appetizer and tapas to share rather than main course for one person. Not only you got an inexpensive bill, you also got the chance to try several different menu. A recommended restaurant to splurge your money to try a new taste (and then go to Fast food Restaurant, cause the portion were too small, lol)

Lobbyn Kitchen and Bar, Kemang

 Located at Fave Hotel, Kemang, Lobbyn Kitchen and Bar is another option to enjoy the Jakarta Skyline.  The bar is on the poolside at the rooftop area of the hotel. The rooftop area opens at 5 PM, so this place was built to enjoy the sunset.

Authentique French Bakery, Kemang

Real french bakery owned by a French lady, Sophie Boyer, Authentique was a joyful and homey little place located at Kemang.  Authentique French Bakery just moved from its previous location, but the new location was near the old one, its about 50 m from the old one. First impression when i came to the bakery were the cozy place and  the appetizing smell of freshly baked pastries.

 When i was here it didn't feels like i was in Jakarta, which is a pleasant way if you need a really short get away from the busy traffic at Kemang /Jakarta

 Canelé (IDR 15), Sophie said this small pastry is a must try, if you haven't tried any canelé,  you haven't tried the Speciality of French Pastries. A canelé is a small French pastry with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust.I like it because it has the right level of sweetness.

Authentique French Bakery is a recommended place to visit. Prices are moderate and they offer a freshly baked pastries and dessert. They also have savory menus for breakfast too-!

Le Cafe Gourmand, Senopati its another spot to enjoy your coffee, with the variety of coffee selection you’ll be satisfied by the good taste of the coffee and how comfy is the place was.

 I always order English Breakfast when it comes to selection of tea. This place doesn't have English breakfast for tea but they sure have great desserts and ice cream. And they also have Indonesian Specialty Teas, like Gunung Tilu Special Grade Black Tea, Organic Red Jade Java Tea, Mount Halimun Oolong, etc (all for IDR 40). Its another place which is perfect to do your assignment or just to enjoy your afternoon

Cloud Lounge and Living Room

 Located at 29th floor above altitude at The Plaza, Cloud Lounge is another option to spent the afternoon with the view of Jakarta City. Its actually divided by three different space. The best one is an outdoor rooftop lounge and bar, with the view of Jakarta City, but it has minimum payment about IDR 1.500.000 – IDR 2.000.000, reasonable price if you go here in a group of 10 people. But if you want to be sited in this area without have to pay the minimum payment, you can sit on the bar. The second area is inside the building  and the third area was outdoor like the first one but with least of view, because it was facing the back of another building, so you cant see the city skyline because it was blocked by another building.

Three Buns Senopati

 New place to enjoy burgers at Senopati, in my opinion Three Buns is the coziest bun house in Jakarta. With the unique White food truck on the gate, you'll be curious to try some of the menu. It's my second time to eat at Three Buns, the first time was on weekend, the place was sooo crowded, there are no chairs left, and you have to wait 20 minutes to order a food after you had ordered some drinks. But the second time was on Monday, and it was completely different. On weekdays, the food was fast (unlike on weekends, i have to wait for an hour and thirty minutes to eat my burger). 

 Oh how i love the ambiance of the place. It was beautifully furnished with the dominance of light wooden chairs and tables, and it had does minimalist yet modern look. Click Read More, to get more info about the place and the food-!

Nicole's Kitchen and Lounge, Puncak

Located at Puncak, Nicole’s Kitchen and Lounge offered a modern concept to enjoy the beauty of Puncak.  With the white atmosphere and window glass as its wall, Nicole’s Kitchen makes a simple yet modern feel to its customer and let the natural light as its primary lighting

Personally, i like the ambient, but i guess Puncak Restaurant’s often are for families, And Nicole’s Kitchen is more suitable for young people or couple who enjoy or would like to try a new restaurant that offers scenery more than good food. The food were average with the Jakarta’s price. We ate Tenderloin Steak for IDR 125.000 and Fish with Mango for about IDR 80.000. Total - i spent for two people were IDR 280.000

Oh, if you want to try Nicole’s Kitchen and Lounge, you better come on weekdays, because Puncak on weekend were terrible, due to the heavy traffic.

Pipiltin Cocoa offered an interesting experience.  With experimental cakes you'll be thrilled to try every cake on the menu. When i opened the Menu, the first page of the Menu were Desserts. Well yes, their specialty is dessert. Divided by two groups, there were "Imagination" Desserts and "Inspiration" Dessert.

Nutmeg Cuisine & Bar Kemang

Beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Behind those glasses door,Nutmeg's interior were dominated with the color of baby blue, wooden furniture and white curtains, which i enjoyed the most, i just love pastel colors !

Ocha & Bella, Menteng

Great and unique ambiance to enjoy your meal and hang out, this place is fun to be visited both - in the morning and at night. Suitable for you that are looking for places to catchup with your friends, take pictures with them and maybe just to enjoy the ambiance. Or if you need something to drink, this place has it all. I personally think that Ocha & Bella had done a great job to furnished, think visually  and aware about the details in every corner.

Turkuaz Authentic Turkish Restaurant

Located at Gunawarman Senopati, the food here was just excellent, especially for those who loves middle eastern food.  Desired to try something new, i chose Turkish food. Nice place, very friendly and warm, the chef or the waiters wouldn't forget to asked how the food was. The signature dish was Lamb Shank.  But we decided to order Sis Kebab (IDR 150) and Shawarma Kebab (IDR 95) . If you have money to splurge, this is the good place to have some nice food, and different kind of food, turkuaz offers you a new experience of turkish food.  We spend for about IDR 350.000, for two main courses and drinks. Definitely Worth it

 Sis Kebab, I personally think this one was better than the other. Nice tender lamb with juicy tastes cooked to a level medium well

 Shawarma Kebab, with rice. Just found out if you ordered Shawarma Kebab served with bread, it would taste better

TRYST : Eat, Drink, Chill & Shop

Best concept store ever.  When you walked in, it looks like a cozy regular restaurant. But its actually a Furniture Shop, so you can buy all the furniture in that restaurant, the chair, lamps and everything. Sure its a pre order, but because of that every month will be different theme with all different furniture. Whoever came out with the idea to make that store, oh my.. smart man. Not only the customer will eventually feel whether the chair is comfy enough and so on, they got their income from selling foods too ! Brilliant.

I suggest you to come here at noon, the natural light fit perfectly

Well its a short trip to Singapore. Never forget to visit The Little Drom Store when you're in Singapore ! Located at China Town (7 Ann Siang Hill). Nice concept store with great stuff and lots of sweets.
